Live as a freelancer, exactly web design freelancer I use a lot of tools to gets my job done. Yes, to get my job done, but with the easiest ways. Firefox is one of the answer.
Firefox is a browser and become quite popular as well. According to Browser Statistics by w3schools, 34.5% internet user use Firefox.
As a popular browser Firefox have a lot of extensions. And it make Firefox is one of the easiest browser to use. They make my life as a web developer so much happier and easier. Well here are some of my favorite plugins.
1. Web Developer by http://chrispederick.com
The Web Developer is an extension adds a menu and a toolbar to the browser with various web developer tools. It is designed for Firefox, Flock, Mozilla and Seamonkey, and will run on any platform that these browsers support including Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
- Display an element’s attributes and style properties, as well as draw colored outlines around them;
- Edit linked/embedded stylesheets in the sidebar while previewing—in realtime—any changes made to the styles;
- Validate your HTML, CSS, and RSS documents via the W3C Validation Services;
- Resize your browser window to standard resolutions, or to custom sizes.
2. Html validator

3. NikkelWHOIS
Lightweight WHOIS Lookup - Adds a small WHOIS button next to your URL
4. ColorZilla
With ColorZilla you can get a color reading from any point in your browser, quickly adjust this color and paste it into another program. You can Zoom the page you are viewing and measure distances between any two points on the page. The built-in palette browser allows choosing colors from pre-defined color sets and saving the most used colors in custom palettes. DOM spying features allow getting various information about DOM elements quickly and easily.
5. Window Resizer
Want to test out out you newly create website in different computer resolutions and you don’t feel like right clicking and changing your resolution every time you change the code to the site. Well have no fear this little add-on/plug-in will do the trick with this you will be able to change the way firefox looks at different resolutions with out spending 3 minutes everyitme going through each setting just to make sure your fluid design stays fluid. So where do I download it, install it and find it to be used.
6. Load Time Analyzer
The Load Time Analyzer allows developers to measure and graph how long web pages take to load in Firefox. Load Time Analyzer produces graphs that show the occurrence of events such as requests for the page, images, stylesheets and scripts, along with events like the execution of an onload script.
7. IE Tab
So you want to create the ultimate site that is both fluid in FireFox and Internet Explorer? well this is a great tool for web developers, since you can easily see how your web page displayed in IE with just one click and then switch back to Firefox.
8. SEO for Firefox
pulls useful market research data right into Google’s and Yahoo!’s search results, including Google PR, Age, links, Alexa rank, WHOIS, and more. It also adds a few helpful links to the top of the search pages, including Google Trends, Google Traffic Estimator, and the Overture View Bid tool.
9. Clear Cache Button
Adds a clear cache toolbar button. After installing the extension, find the clear cache button in the toolbar customization panel.
10. FireFTP

And for Adsense Publisher may use AdSense Preview, to Preview the Google ads that may show on any web page.
